Amber Sumpton
Parent Connector
Amber joined Thrive at Five after working for local charities, supporting children and families through roles that include kinship carers, young carers, and wellbeing coaching. Her work is driven by a passion for creating inclusive, supportive environments where everyone feels valued and supported. Before stepping into these roles, Amber studied Forensic Psychology at undergraduate level and completed a PGCE Master’s. She is also a proud mam to a 6-year-old neurodivergent son, and as someone who is neurodivergent herself, she dedicates time to reading and researching to better understand and support neurodivergent people.
