Thrive at Five has secured funding from BBC Children in Need to support our work in Redcar & Cleveland. This builds on our shared commitment to equitable, accessible and connected early years support.
Their support will help us continue our work alongside families, communities, the local authority, public health and many other partners to support local children from pregnancy to age five. By building trust and relationships and improving connections we are ensuring that communities in Redcar and Cleveland have better access to the help they need, and by adding capacity to work alongside professionals and community groups, we help strengthen the local early years system now and for the long term.
We recently shared some of the work we did over the summer with local partners to provide free play, learning and support opportunities in a period where this support can often be paused.
