Karla Capstick

Karla has joined the Thrive at Five team after leading the multi award winning Nottingham, Small Steps Big Changes ‘A Better Start’ Lottery funded programme for nearly seven years as its Director. Passionate about early years, early intervention, coproduction and placing parent and community voices at the heart of service design and delivery, Karla brings extensive knowledge and experience of working in schools and Local Government for over 20 years mainly in the East Midlands and South Yorkshire. Previous roles include Head of Service for Early Help and Programme Manager for Service Transformation and Integration. Karla is also a trustee for a Health advocacy and patient voice charity.
