Hannah Beckett

Hannah has lived in Teesside all her life and trained to become a teacher at York St John University, specialising in Early Years. She understands how important the early years of a child’s life are in giving every child the best possible start in life. She is incredibly proud of where she lives, despite the challenges that many families face. Throughout her teaching career, she has worked across Early Years and Key Stage 1 in a range of schools, giving her a broad understanding of the different experiences and circumstances that can shape a child’s education. She is passionate about ensuring that every child has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their starting point or the challenges they may face. She believes strongly in working in partnership with children, parents and families to remove barriers, build confidence and ensure that everyone can thrive and access the support and services they need.
